Opening Night Roster

Description
This is a realistic opening night roster. Sutter will be a Penguin on opening night (I believe he will be traded at the deadline). Kunitz is the same as Sutter and will be traded at the deadline to a team that needs a veteran presence to go deep in the playoffs. As much as I hope I am proved wrong, I believe this will be Dupuis last year in the NHL. He's 36, going on 37 and is slowly losing his place on the roster. I don't believe he will be traded, unless he contributes significantly. Bennett and Dumoulin will be resigned to 1.2 million or less contracts. Scuderi, sadly, will be an overpaid 7th defenseman. Finally, I believe the forth line this year will be a nice experiment, in terms of youth (Sheary, Sundqvist, Bennett, Wilson). Only time will tell how it plays out. Overall, this team has scoring depth throughout the lineup (4th line may be a surprise) and high quality, yet untested defense. Tides are turning in Pittsburgh.

Forgive Tim Erixon being under AHL buried. I do not believe he will be on the roster. He will probably say in Wilkes-Barre. Just couldn't figure out how to take him off the roster.

I think this is probably the most accurate scenario the penguins will be working with. Well done Man.

Yeah, Unfortunately I don't see Scuderi or Sutter leaving Pittsburgh. Maybe by the trade deadline though.

I believe Dumoulin will get a contract much like the one Depres got when we resigned him. Which would be around 950000. He has to prove himself. He has only played in a handful of NHL games. While Beau will probably get around 1 million. The kid needs to prove himself as well. I know your numbers were not far off of that.
