This is a really fun idea but it would require the Sens to spend almost to the cap, which is even more unlikely than either of these teams actually swapping their franchise superstars

Karlsson and Brassard for Toews alone is not worth it. Don't get me wrong Toews is a fantastic player, but Karlsson is more valuable to the Sens as our defense is already one of weaknesses without him.

Seabrook adds great value for us for two years, but after that he diminishes and will eventually become negative value, which we don't need.

.Bryan Murray thought it so important to trade for Phanuef last year, so maybe guys like Kane and Seabrook are outta his league. Some high priced, overpaid guys on long term contracts would be of more interest to the Sens......Girardi, Staal, Stepan, Jordan Staal, Bolland, Orpik, Brown,
