What is ehlers value

Created by: TommyBPickles
Team: 2020-21 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 1, 2020
Published: Sep. 1, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I assume domi is top of the list as they need a 2C and I put mete in as they need D but I think this is a slight overpay. As domi and ehlers have pretty similar career stats. Ehlers 0.69 ppg and domi 0.67 ppg
I think killorn would be a really good fit with kotk

Tampa needs to move cap, Killorn likely comes cheaper.

Astonishingly higher than what you're offering there.

That TB trade is nice though. Think TB would add a 5th rounder to it.

As for the NE trade:
1-swap the picks
2-add a defensively aware player such as Lehkonen

Maybe then WIN talks with you...maybe

I'd assume that Winnipeg would prefer an actual center. Realistically, I can't imagine Winnipeg including a 2nd rounder without getting a serious upgrade from Ehlers, which Domi isn't.

Just to be clear you are saying domi, mete, lehk and a 2nd for ehlers and a 3rd?

I tried to edit the trade and domi and mete disappeared as tradable options so obviously capfriendly believes my original deal was fair and should not have been undone

What would be the expected return for Domi...done before the draft...without extension?

Unless the Habs are also planning to move one of Drouin, Tatar or Gallagher at the same time, Ehlers doesn't help the Habs very much. He's just another highly skilled, light-on-the-puck winger. He's probably better than Drouin and Tatar, but unless those guys are moved for some grit and/or defensive help, the Habs are spinning their wheels with this trade.

He's unsigned, so you're getting his rights and the opportunity to make your own deal with him. To me, realistically, he'd fetch a pick in the 20s, maybe a bit more if you take back a small bit of contract garbage on a team that needs cap relief.

Killhorn is a NEED for the habs: Big Strong Skill winger perfect on PP.

Ehlers... he's he the right target??? I would go for Connor personally: Domi, 2021 1st, Kulak, and one of Armia or Lehko

Which is why the jets would trade Laine instead if chevy isn’t as dumb as I think he is
