I wouldn't do any of these.

The 2nd is valuable for Leddy, but I'd honestly rather get cheap NHLers than a draft pick (unless it was a 1st, which we're not getting). For example from the Kings, I'd rather have something around Amadio and Brickley and a low pick than the 2nd. Cheap depth is so important.

The Ottawa deal isn't worth it for the Islanders. We can't trade Cizikas, even if it loses us Komarov. We need Cizikas on this team. We started our slump when he and Pelech went down.

That Toronto deal is also not worth it. I like Nylander a lot, but if we trade Pulock our right side on defense goes from elite (yes, I think it's elite), to average. Dobson isn't ready for 1D responsibilities. It's not like it saves us any cap either, Pulock won't make more than Nylander does.

to think that this will get you Nylander is crazy indeed . Don't listen to all those over patriotic Leafs fans who listend to Don Cherry for two long. Nylander is a top player who actually played very well this season and and also does not get enough credit for his work because it looks too easy.

I dont even know if this deal gets Nylander but we have to consider it. We need to get someone to play with Barzal and score goals. No one on this team or the minors is going to do that. Pulock is top pair RD, no doubt, but Pelech is prob the most underrated top LD in the league and will help cover up some of Dobson's mistakes. I believe we need to recoup the draft capital we lost on JP trade. Although I love Casey too, he hasnt managed to play a full season in 5 years and with his style of play, I doubt he ever will again. I just dont see how we dont consider getting something now for him because i cant see how we could possibly resign him anyway.

Kings decline, not paying a 2nd for Leddy. When does a rebuilding team ever make a trade like that anyway?

As @slapshot723 suggests, LA would be willing to do Amadio and the 2020 fifth for Leddy. No chance we'd give up that second for anyone less than Mayfield or Wilde.

As a leaf fan I like the idea of Pullock but would rather have Beauvilier in that deal instead....maybe we include a Johnsson or a pick or prospect as well
