I have Gunler and Amirov both ahead of him. But I wouldn’t be mad at a Holloway pick assuming those guys are off the board and none of the main 9 skaters are available.

Holloway’s got a pretty high floor though. You can kinda pencil him in as a 3C in a couple years. The big question is if he’ll turn into more.

It’s just nowhere in the ballpark of the forward crop. And the Rangers have no need for D prospects: between Miller/Lundkvist/Robertson/Jones this is probably the top D pool in the league.

D prospects get interesting in the 2nd/3rd though. Mitch Miller looks fun. So does Wallinder.

Yeah I think they should. He's a really good blend of speed, skill, and power, and while his ceiling isn't as high as some of the other guys that might go at his slot, his floor is pretty high and he has the intensity to make it

Don't think he's available. I'd imagine him going 11-14th, which is before NYR would be drafting.

It depends heavily on who else is available. If any of the consensus Top 10 are still on the board, then no. I'd also probably take a guy like Zary over him

Assuming they pick 16th and 21st, I wouldn't personally at 16 but I would consider him at 21. I'm a Badger fan so I've seen quite a bit of Holloway. He plays a fun, physical game and he's an extremely powerful skater but I worry about his hockey sense. It's possible he was adjusting to the NCAA which is a tough league for a draft eligible player, but I didn't see him make high-end plays consistently enough. He has great hands, though.

Also, he can play any forward position.

Lundell and Khustnutdinov would be ideal
