I figured giving Ceci $6m would prevent Ottawa from wanting to match the offer sheet. I'm putting a lot of trust in him. I'm hoping he can become a solid top 4 dman in 2 or 3 years which is why I gave him a big contract. It's a bit of I gamble but I feel like it would pay off. As for Russell, he asked for $5m in real life, so I figured I'd just give it to him.
