Reaves and Lucic could be had easily enough; that Wilson guy would come at a price = _________________________________?
Only 20 on roster and no money left so that's iffy too.

If this was real, Boston would have Coyle Miller Chara, coming off the books. (also Krug, but im assuming he will resign with them. Also saving a few hundred thousand on Halak next year. Could be a 22 man roster just need some cap movement

But yes Wilson would cost way to much which makes this really unrealistic

What is Wison's value for BOS; 2-pieces = 1st pick and either a Goalie prospect (Swayman, Keyser, Vladar) OR Vaak?

I could be wrong, but im also factoring into the account that while he is good, he is still really a grinder type player and granted that 40 points in 60ish games the past two seasons is pretty good, idk if he makes the second line of not? and if not, is he worth 5 mil to be on the third line? IDK

In saying that: Maybe like Karson Kuhlman, Kyle Kesyer, and a 2nd? or it that too little? Too much?

Yeah could be good what you show. I think he's a legit 2nd line guy and even as a third liner he has more value than the usual '3rd'-NHLer.
Just not sure.

Im thinking if, lets say Wilson is traded tomorrow, Washington would probably request a 1st rounder in the trade.

eh im not worried, he is a 3rd liner that can EASILY play 2nd line after this BEAUT of a year. He isnt like a burden. Im just saying he isnt "coming off of the books"

That's a tough one and I honestly don't have a good answer lol. Just looking at RW's from a per 60 basis at 5v5 over the last 3 years, his closest production comp would be Alex Tuch. However, Wilson blows him out of the water in the Hit/60 department by almost 3x.

Goal/60
AT - .70
TW - .76

Points/60
AT - 1.85
TW - 1.84

Hits/60
AT - 5.6
TW - 13.9

Blocks/60
AT - 2.36
TW - 2.37

Among his peers at RW, he ranks 32nd in P/60 over the last 3 seasons which is very good......Here is what concerns me just looking at the numbers though:

of his 36 goals at 5v5 he had 32 that we're assisted by either Ovie, Kuz or Backstrom
of his 51 assist at 5v5 he had 31 that we're goals scored by Ovie, Kuz or Backstrom
of his 87 points at 5v5 Ovie factored into 43% of the goals

Now this would make sense as his 3 most common linemates over the last 3 years has been Ovie, Kuz and Backstrom but he's not going to be playing opposite an Ovie in Boston. If he's on L2 then he'll get Krejci and DeBrusk, neither of which are the caliber of player that his current linemates are. He also see 18+ a night in WSH and I don't think he'd see that in Boston either.

I guess the answer would depend on WSH needs, but I'd think 1st + young NHL player (top 6 FWD or top 4 DEF upside) + a very good prospects.

Good reply/comparable and agree on the "WSH linemate" bump. Guess his real value is as the Head of the Truculence Dept!
1st, Grz, Kase/Seny, or
1st, Bjork, Vaak/Lauzon etc etc...

TBH I think a guy like Frederic could play a "Wilson Role" on this team. Big kid, likes to throw the body, willing to drop the gloves and could potentially give you 30-40 points with the right linemates.
