His progression has been consistent with other players drafted in his draft year. Gotta think he's gonna be given every opportunity to be a Leaf when the NHL resumes.
They might put him in the AHL to start next season, and go from there.
Can't play in the AHL next year, it's a weird rule between the CHL and NHL. He can either go back to OHL which would be too easy for him, to the NHL which he might not be ready for yet, or potentially be loaned to a European team to play against men. I don't know if the last one is an option but if it is, it would be best for him IMO.

I forgot about that stupid rule. I think best for him would be to go to Europe

Haven't we seen throughout the years, dozens maybe hundreds of high scoring junior who aren't NHL ready at age 18, 19 or maybe never. Why is Robertson so different?
He would be bored in the OHL, I don’t think the Leafs want to chance him stagnating in the OHL. I feel as though they are going to have him make the team (unless he ****s the bed) but have him earn his ice time & sit him in the press box 3/4 times a month.
He will be in a pro environment that can not be replicated while playing in the OHL.

Will not be surprised if he makes Leafs for 2020-2021 season as he is just too good to go back to the OHL.
