I live Matthew Tkachuk, but trading the 2nd overall pick for him would be a massive mistake. Sens haven't had a Centre of Byfield's calibre since Jason Spezza. Not a chance in hell do you trade him for a winger.

Spezza was the last Elite Centre to player during his prime in Ottawa. Zibanejad is the last Elite Centre to play in Ottawa but his prime only started in New York.

For what I've seen, it's like the Sens have to give in order to get something in return. (Losing the Duchene trade by a landslide only to emerge as victorious in the Karlsson trade - both were unexpected lopsided trades) (Fleecing Milbury in the Yashin trade ony to lose Zibanejad right before he's about to hit his prime - both were trades w/ NYC-based team)
