Johnson isn’t waiving his NMC so he can be selected by Seattle. Then just the whole transaction, Compher, Johnson and a 1st for $6M in cap space. Not just no, but Hell no. If the Avs are smart they understand they are going to lose ONE player in the expansion draft, they don’t need to be Minnesota and Florida of the last expansion draft that made Vegas a cup contender and give up multiple assets.

And Ryan Graves at $5.25 for 7 yrs is a massive overpayment I like his game as much as anybody but if you are willing to commit to him long term something in the low $4M range should get the job done.

Too low on Bura
too much on Nuke
way way way too much on Graves
Schultz is a terrible signing
6 years on Hoffman...woof thats too long for his age

Terrible trade with the Devils
terrible deal with seattle

I dont think there is one good move here to be honest

Landy will be around Andres Lee money so a tad too high based on realistic Comps
Makar is in the range depending on Term
Grubi is wait and see, he could easily lose his job with how Francouz has played and next season there isa. chance he loses the net. Dont have to rush that deal

u low ball makar with less than chabot money prepare for offersheets he wont be taking less than 8. If the team wants to keep Grubaur better be prepared to pay him. Landeskog may take 7 like lee did or he could want a payday. Dubas is a young up and coming GM who is an innovative thinker saying your gm is better is just a childish argument.

Grubauer is fine at 6, landeskog minimum is lower than 8.5 and makars is lower than 8... makar is a great player but hes an RFA, sakic wont give him 8-10 mill after 2 years of service, that's doughty, carlson money post Stanley cup

McAvoy was a pretty big deal and took less than 5 with a QO of 7.3.. karlsson got paid and look at what happened to SJS

Graves, Ryan 7 $5,250,000 .... OOOF that is a HUGE overpayment, in both term and money.
Burakovsky, André 6 $4,850,000.... money is about right, term probably about 2 years too much.
Nichushkin, Valeri 5 $2,575,000... $500k too much, and way too much term. Not often bottom 6ers at that cap hit get such long deals.
UFA YEARS CAP HIT
Hoffman, Mike 6 $7,000,000 .... I see Sakic avoiding this type of signing, and instead trading for a winger with more manageable term.
Schultz, Justin 4 $3,333,000.... Schultz blocks Timmins. No goer.

Consensus on forums is that Zadorov fetches a 2nd + 3rd/4th, so this feels slightly low. That said, if it's a high 2nd it would be decent.

NJ are rebuilding and aren't trading essentially half a set of draft picks for Jost and 1 year of Cole.

Lastly you forgot Kaut; he's going to be on the roster next season.
