Gotta think Columbus will be trying Grigorenko at 2C before taking a chance on Turris and his $6M×4 deal.

I say this on every Turris for Wennberg swap, but NSH is going to have to pay up to switch the two. There are so many more advantages to Wennberg than there are to Turris.

The Nashville trade is horrible for the Jackets.

Left wing, I had him as center as a pick up for the oilers about 1 month ago and someone told me as well, so i looked it up and if I remember correct, he takes 4 draws a game on the number 1 line, so most likely when the center gets the boot. I think a number 1 center in NHL takes 16 face offs a game. It is on the KHL site if you want to check. There are lots of stats guys on this site that can let you know. I am not so good with stats as I just like players.

Interesting, seems like a strange signing for the Jackets then cause they seem to be full of wingers and lack centers.

Not sure where Nash fits with Boston. Bergeron, Krejci, Coyle, Kuraly currently occupy the middle with guys like Studnicka and Frederic banging on the door. As it is either one of Coyle or Studnicka may have to play RW next year. On the RW they have Pastrnak, Kase, Coyle/Studnicka and Wagner. Of course they have Senyshyn looking to crack the line-up next year as well.

IDK, the only place maybe you get him to fit is #4C and move Kuraly to #4LW. But with that, I don't see Boston being willing to take on cap space when they have other needs to use that money. Maybe if it were something like Nash for Moore, but I don't think CBJ has a need for Moore.

Maybe like you said, they might try him at center again, but there is a big difference going from KHL to NHL IMO

From a Jets fans' perspective, I would do this deal 100%.

About the only realistic trade is the Jets trade and I think Columbus would rather just take the picks vs getting players back at this point.

Toronto- no use in Columbus for Johansson, Grigor will play LW taking his spot in the line up.

Ottawa- Dubinsky isn’t waiving and we really don’t have the picks to pay them to take him at this point.

Nashville. Wennberg> Turris and it’s really not close. Foudy will be 2nd line center if he’s ready if not Jenner and Folingo can hold it for the season, if we keep Wennberg. If we don’t he’s a cheaper buyout the Turris is.

Boston, Nash is a perfect depth player for Columbus. Decent faceoff guy and can 3rd line in a pinch. He can also play wing or center in an effective role.

As for the lines. Robinson will be in vs Shore and Folingo won’t be 4th line.
