I don't get this trade either. Brassard is 5 years older at 5M and a M-NTC. I think Zibanejad could have been had for cheaper with similar stats.

This trade is soo dumb. I don't understand. Zibanejad is already better than Brassard, he's 5 years younger, he loves Ottawa, and he has a much higher ceiling. Oh I forgot, Ottawa also threw in a 2nd rounder.

NYR won hands down. But you're gonna love his game. The problem is, it's hard for him to compete the way he wants and pushing his thirties, only going to get harder...PS Thanks for the 2nd.
