Didn't saw many KK trades... I really think Suzuki proved that he can take that spot and Poehling as well...
and considering getting a TOP LHD... you need to give if you want to receives... + getting PowerForward Anderson who struggle might be the upside on that deal if he revive in MTL

Imagine with Caufield getting 2RW in 2021... and then move Domi on the wings with one of Suzuki or Poehling jumping top 2 C

Hiw can poehling in three game have shown you anything that prove he can take kotkaniemi spot. I mean he haven’t played at center this season and haven’t been very efficient in is three game. Sathurday’s gane was is best but nothing conclusive yet. If montreal move a forward it will be poehling. Kk ceilings is way to high to gave up on him. Montreal have been waiting for 20 years for that big centerman, won’t trade him right when they drafted him

KK missed the last 3 games and the team played verywell. I agree with with KK ceilling is high... but getting a TOP LHD who have size, speed,skill, physical like Werenski... That would be BEAST.

I agree that getting warenski would be great but not by giving kotkaniemi away. This would be the stupidest thing montreal could do. Suzuki doesnt have the same impact as center this season as he have on the wing. Kk will be the number one center in a near futur. Maybe if the habs where a serious cup contender and warenski where the last pieces but this isnt the case. With seattle expansion draft coming up trade opportunities will come for defenseman and bergevin might pull the trigger. The habs might very well miss the playoff again this year and end up with a high pick so they would have option.

For now the biggest problem is that third spot on the left side. Reilly and kulak are just not stepping up right now both are terrible

By bringing a REAL TOP LHD... that would resolve your problem with Kulak & Reilly out of the line up and leaves Chariot & Mete depending of the team to play TOP 4 or not
