Unsigned RFA Team - How Would They Do

Created by: ON3M4N
Team: 2019-20 Custom Team
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 27, 2019
Published: Aug. 27, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Bored between meetings so I threw this together.

Everyone below is an RFA that remains unsigned, outside of the goalies (because I couldn't find any).

How would this team do in an 82 game season? Would you mix up the lines at all? swap out player for other unsigned RFA's?

Salary is not important, but I did give Marner more because he's the best player on the Leafs ;)

I really wish someone would put together a tool where you could put in custom lineups to get a projected point total.

The Athletic has done that before, but it isn't available to the public. It's essentially WAR for hockey. I'm sure a lot of teams that are heavy into analytics have a similar tool.

I was being sarcastic because people post these things all day asking how would this team do.

Sure but it's not overly complicated. It is just a calculation based on WAR

(whoosh) that went over my head, lol. But it would be pretty cool if that type of tool were available to the public...

It is. Sean Tierney has a google doc somewhere. I can't get it on my work computer but I have it saved to my phone.
