Description

I'm assuming Jost loses his 2nd line job and gets demoted to 3C where he can be much more successful. The big line stays together, with kadri driving the 2nd line burakovsky and donskoi benefit from top 6 minutes and opportunity on the 2nd pp and put up career numbers. I think kamenev makes the team out of came as the 13th forward and waits for someone to suck (Wilson or neito) or get injured. The 3rd line becomes a nice skilled checking line, jost/compher steps up when kadri gets thrown out of the game

I agree with your predictions mostly. I'm a bit skeptical about the Girard-Makar pairing tho. It was a lot of fun to watch in the playoffs but I'm not sure if those two can match up for the long regular season. They are amazing players but I think they can be taken advantage of physically. We saw that against San Jose at times. Also I'd totally be okay with jost not panning out as a 2nd line player but turns out to be an above average 3rd line center. Do you think Byram makes the team? It seems like he's too good for junior but won't get a ton of ice time with the Avs. He's still only 18 tho!
