Ya Phoenix agrees quick, interesting world with the hard salary cap, limiting teams to actually add a contract of that size may come into play on what the return is

So Matthews quietly signs a contract in season while marner has his camp smearing his name and negotiating through the media and Matthews is the diva?

That return on Matthews is gross and Arizona can not afford to pay a player 11.6m.

After all that you overpay marner by 2m and set the leafs up to fail.

Dubas keeps hardballing marner. There are no offersheets coming. I really think this whole marner is jealous of Matthews and the way his camp is acting has been blown up by the media. Marner signs contract long term around 10m bridge for 8.5m leafs are happy fans are happy we role into the season with a strong Dcore and an offence that keeps improving at both ends of the rink. Everyone in leaf land is happy... the end.
