Woah woah woah...It's vice versa. Malkin wants out of Pitt, the Hawks are just checking in. Not that this would happen anyway, but it's not often the Hart trophy winner entering his prime gets dealt for an (albeit great player) that's left his prime and has missed 20+ games 4 out of the last 6 seasons...and expected to have surgery... I'm honestly not saying he's a bad player because he's really good, but you got to be on the ice and can't be past your prime for the current hart trophy winner....at least (1) 1st and a prospect back...just because!

Also Ted Lindsay...so the players think he's better too.....

Oh no! I agree with you!!! why go from 2nd fiddle to 3rd or 4th fiddle! Doesn't make sense, but he doesn't like PITT!!!

lol Malkin isn't going anywhere. Various sources have since confirmed that it was nothing more than rumor. Why would Malkin want out of Pitt/why would they wanna deal him after just winning the cup? Trading Malkin would shake up their roster which otherwise will go largely unchanged and, therefore, give the Pens a great chance to repeat. Fleury is much more likely to get traded than Malkin.
