    Good try but although it addresses the CH needs in offense, why would Eriksson sign in MTL?
    There are literally 29 other more interesting teams to sign with...

    3.75M for 3 years is not that of a stretch; given his age and production last term. I get where you are coming from because he is a quality player.
    But even if he was to command 4-5 M, the cap is there for that to be done. He might just lose a year on his term as a result.
