Hi!
I don't see what is in it for Colombus.
Eller is a decent 3rd liner at best (really at best 2nd line in a non-playoff team).
They'd get away from Hartnell's ridiculous contract, but to get rid of a high pick like this makes little sense to me...

Zero truth to this one i'm afraid. Eller is only a million and half cheaper than Hartnell so they aren't really saving all that much. (Which would be their main motivation for doing something like this.) As much as adding two low 2nd rounders sweetens the deal, its not nearly enough.
