You can't buyout that many people and there's no point to. 1 year left of Campbell, Boll and McElhinney who are decent enough to be 4th liners on a building team and a backup goalie. And buying out David Clarkson really hurts cap going forward. Only Tyutin should even be considered for a buyout.

I can see Florida accepting that trade however I don't see Toronto accepting their trade. Despite what people believe Bernier is a fantastic goalie and has put up some great numbers while playing for a horrible Toronto team. With a much more sound team in the coming years I can see Toronto thriving with Bernier leading the charge in net so don't see how this trade is accepted, Toronto needs a number 1 center not another goalie.

Bobrovsky is a terrible cap hit for anyone, as he lots of other CBJs. Jones at 6m would be another.

Agree Cant buyout so many & long term cap issues, but it is nice to dream, huh? Disagree about Campbell, Boll & McIlhinney, they do not contribute in the least, they are total liability on the ice compared to the young talent CBJ needs to make room for. Jackets have been waiting DECADE for fully developed & talented draftees and now can't get them in the lineup.
