You are clearly a Flames fans that lives in La la land to suggest you can receive a top 10 - top 15 goalie that is just 30 and that earns an affordable 5 millions in exchange for a 2nd pick.
There is no point for Pitt to make this trade. I think they would rather losse Fleury at the expension then get nothing like that.

Disagree. There are a bunch of goalies available with a limited amount of teams. That number is even more limited now that Carolina has resigned Ward. If Pittsburgh wants to open up some CAP, they need to move Fleury. Calgary is the spot, but Calgary has options. Howard, Halak, Niemi, Anderson just to name a few, are all on the block. Calgary could get Howard for a 5th round pick... PIttsburgh has to SELL Fleury if they want to move him for something. I don't know about you, but something is ALWAYS better than nothing. Howard and Fleury have comparable contracts. Its a good trade with comparison to numbers both have produced in the last couple years. Howard is around the .905-.910 SVA and Fleury is more like .915-920. Howard has GAA around 2.4-2.6 and Fleury has been steady around 2.2-2.3 over the past 5-6 years. If Im Calgary, is Fleury worth that second round pick or can we deal with Howard for two years and only lose a 5th round pick. You tell me you want a first for Fleury and I am taking Howard. You cant oversell your guys right now in an oversaturated market.

Fluery for a 2nd seems like too much for me. He makes 5M and has played like crap when it really matters (particularly the post season) a bunch of times. If I'm CGY I check the price on Freddy Andersen and Brian Elliot or Jake Allen first.
