I'd prefer the 1st, 2nd, 3rd offersheet compensation for Kapanen over that package.

Everyone immediately says no except Montreal, and even then I really don’t think they want to sell Romanov.

I would love to do Ghost for Kaprizov straight up, although I don’t know if the wild would do that

For me it’s a matter of getting the player you want and not taking any chances. Personally I feel that Hagg is a good defenseman but he’s replaceable. Vorobyov has talent and can crack a lineup but I don’t think it will be in Philly.

8.6 for Hayes is a big chuck of change for someone who puts up the numbers he does. You are paying him comparable to Stamkos or Crosby for second line minutes and puts up 30 less points.
