You wouldn’t think so, but an opportunity to play for this team may change his mind. He’ll get 3 very very very good chances at a cup with this core. Arguably Best offence, arguably best D, arguably best goaltending. This team should be a lock to win a cup in 3 years

Point is going to want more than just 8 million on an 8 year deal. He should get at least 10.5-11, he’s proven that he’s in the same class as McDavid and Matthews.
