aside from signing Gardiner and trading Alzner....

lets talk about the Vlasic trade : did his value drop?

I haven't got the chance to see him play (no time to follow the playoff and SJS play the habs twice a year)

what would be his value

2 steps forward, 3 steps back. IMO

Vlasic is the last type of player the Habs need.

There are plenty of younger cheaper LHD options that would cost the equivalent of just the draft picks in both those deals........ A 2020 1st and two 2019 2nds can get you an solid player. No need to get a 30+ year old Vlasic signed to another ridiculous contract that the Habs will be stuck with.

Alzner isn't really a problem to this team at all. Just leave him in the AHL.

Gardiner and Defense Fix don't go together. It's an oxymoron.

Habs are not signing Gardiner and sure as hell not for 7 years LOL.

Berge will do what berge does... get a fourth liner and a #7 D and then say that we can't have enough depth in the line-up, it's just too important and also say that he believes his offers were very competitive but players prefered to sign elsewhere
