Or, hear me out, Florida signs Bob and Panarin and uses their draft pick and doesn’t get stuck with a load of Chicago garbage.

So Bobrovsky and Panarin basically take discounts to sign with the Hawks, Yeah that's not happening Bobrovsky wants 7 x 9.5 and Panarin wants 7 x 10.5 minimally Speculation out of Detroit is that they're willing to give Breadman close to $12 million per over 7 seasons. So that alone will drive his price up big time.

Let me take a look... yeah no. Detroit is not in on any top end free agents. They are the definition of cap hell.

LMFAO Cap Hell Detroit has about $25 million in cap space for 2019/2202 and close to $50 million for the 2020/2021 season Cap Hell laugh You're so wrong with Detroit being in cap hell.

The way I see it is who does Detriot have prospect wise(Non-NHLers) and what would entice a free agent to come to a rebuilding team with little foundation. They can sign someone big in 3 years but currently, as the team sits they are under the cap 9 million not including any blueliners they sign this summer. Also, they can barely get 30 wins in the regular season.

you don't have 25 Million in cap, you have 3 players on LTIR that are being paid as well, and you have a total of 86 Million on your books. You have about 8 Million in salary cap, and I'm not so sure anyone is willing to take all of your cap dumps without firsts involved, and even at that that barely gets you under the cap. Now 2020/2021 you have more like 33 Million coming off the books, but the chances that Panarin and Bobrovsky would sign in Detroit are close to none. That being said neither of them will take paycuts to join up with a rebuilding team in Chicago. Panarin is probably heading his was into the Islanders organization which will get him close to 9 Million dollars (as he is not worth 10 Million as most people say he is), Bobrovsky will end up on a contending team with a Goalie issues (Carolina, Calgary) for upwards of 10 Million Dollars (Carey Price Money).

The $86 million is this past season not this coming summer, We've $71 million committed if the cap goes up the reported $83 million that's $12 million taking into consideration of Zetterberg, Franzen and Green on LTIR that opens close to $25 million in cap space even both Holland and Yzerman acknowledge that as what we could spend. Plus Daley and Helm could be moved for lesser picks 6th or 7th with no retention. And i've never said that Bobrovsky or Panarin would sign with Detroit. Wings are going younger in a year or two with their Goaltending Detroit will not be in on Bobrovsky Panarin yeah i can see them making a major pitch for him. Doubt he'd have any interest but you never know. If Detroit is willing to make him the 2nd highest after McDavid any thing is possible.

It still doesn't matter you only have 8 Million coming off the books which puts you around 78 Million, which leaves you with only a few million to spend.

Franzen, Zetterberg, and Green are all still Detroit's duty to pay and it counts toward the cap, anyway you slice it it doesn't matter you do not have 25 Million in cap space.
