Description
One trade is all that is needed. Teams have to start worrying about the expansion draft. Yes it would be sweet for us to pick up Faulk, Barrie, Vatanen etc etc. But who do you expose on the back end come expansion time??

Hamonic is a beast. (BTW That was suppose to be the 2017 first round pick) and I would hate to see Klef and those dreamy abs go but hey,

You can never have too much depth down the middle so keeping the big three and also adding Grabs while keeping Letetsu and Lander is solid.

Nurse plays a ton on the farm and is first call up. I would be swapping GR and Ost back and forth at the start of the year.

Johnson plays a great back up role while LB continues to progress on the AHL

Fayne is a solid 3rd pair dman that does lots of little things right. He plays good position. Yes he is getting paid like a 3-4 but we have him and might as well play him. Nurse is not ready for the show full time.

That trade makes no sense. A first and klefbom? Find another piece

How does it not make sense? They get a solid 3 dman back to grow into a 1-2. Oil take Grabs off them for more cap space next year to resign JT. Plus a first and Yaks whos on a good contract and young. Oil could get burnt here depending on where the draft pick falls.

I will bet money klef is a 1/2 or a better three than hamonic next year. Yeah klef gets injured but this year was an extended fluke. From what I saw of klef that would be a terrible trade.

Also with signing Demers it doesn't allow you to protect Nurse. You would be required to protect Sekera, and you'd have to think you'd protect "Hamonic" aka Klefbom. Wouldn't want to lose Nurse for nothing.

You don't have to protect Nurse....he will be protected from the 2 years rule. Him Drain and McDavid are automatically protected.
