Regardless, Trade him for picks to whoever wants him. I believe he is done in Winnipeg.

It's a known fact of Trouba not wanting to play in Canada, That's per his agent Kurt Overhardt. And none of us Wing fans said that it was a slam dunk to get Trouba. But according to his own agent Detroit is his preferred destination.

Too much for Copp, and Laine's bridge will be expensive but not that expensive.

Nowhere near enough for Tanev unfortunately, I would love to re-sign him at that $$$ but I highly doubt that.

I will burn Bell MTS to the ground if Myers re-signs for 5x5.5

The Jets window is closed, dressing room issues and a mediocre coach have assured that. They should trade Trouba for whatever picks/prospects they can get so they have some young talent for the next coach to work with when Maurice is hopefully replaced in a season or two.

Trouba for a 1st, 2x 2nd's, and a 3rd for a one year rental? And 3 of those picks will begin their rounds. Laughable. But maybe Ottawa hasn't learned from the Duschene trade yet.

A roster size of 20 with a cap hit of 82.2M would be a huge risk that could leave the team shorthanded in the event of day-to-day injuries. Beyond that how is that team better than the team that failed in the 1st round?

I'll say it. This is one of the worst trades ever. One year of Trouba for all the picks, he's a one year rental. A roster of 20 and little cap. So you pay Tim Heed 900,000 and he the answer as a full time RHD?
