I guess the value is kinda close on the trade minus the Avs 2nd. But the Avs would be doing TBL a huge favor by taking Callahan off the books so they would have to add more. I don't like the trade for the pieces we'd get back. Miller and Callahan are middle 6 guys. I like Miller but Barrie's value is high right now. Avs really need a top 6 guy and they can aquire one by trading Barrie. This trade doesn't make the Avs that much better. And 27 overall, you don't know what you're gonna get. The last 2 1st round picks that the Avs picked later than 16th (Hishon and Bleakley) have been total busts.
To summarize, this trade makes the best team in the league even more dangerous offensively. And gives the Avs another Carl soderberg.

I like this trade and I agree with @adamkaz23 that the second should be taken away. Also Miller is 26 and if he gets more ice time next season he'll rack in 20 goals and be a physical presence on the ice. Miler is a top 6 player it's just unfortunate for miller that Tampa's top line chemistry was clicking between Johnson point and Kuch. When miller was acquired at the tdl he was on the top line with stammer and Kuch and miller was on fire. Millers roll was different this year he played with Cirelli and killorn a good amount of the season and weirdly with Callahan and Paquette which worked for some reason. Anyway in my opinion he'd be a rockstar playing with MacKinnon, Rantanen, Jost and Even j.t compher would be an effective mix. Barrie has high value and I think there could be something here. . .

No I will Not. I'd keep Barrie before that trade.
