The nylander trade seems fair, helps our cap anyway.

What would you think about nylander Kadri for Barrie and jost?

I think that would be fine as well. Just didn't think you would want Barrie in TO.

After getting muzzin I think Barrie would pair well. Before that we had all puck movers on the left.

Might not be entirely smart with nothing to show for Kadri and nylander but jost the season after though.

I would think the trade would be more Kadri for Barrie straight up, maybe a conditional pick if Barrie resigns or an extension is discussed before the trade

Most definitely would be a conditional high pick as Barrie is more valuable than Kadri.

That top 6 is ridiculous. Only problem I have is the Hoffman for Barrie trade. I don't think we'd be able to resign Hoffman. For Barrie I'd like to have some assets that will help us for a few years.

If we got skinner and nylander. Rantanen, skinner, and compher will probably get a little more. Gotta have space to resign Landeskog, Girard, and grubauer in a year or two.

You clear a fair amount of space in the next few years losing Soderberg (bring up Kaut) Cole, and the 4th liners.

True but he'll likely want a raise and longer term. It just concerns me. Not to mention the expansion draft, we'd lose a good player for sure

If the above is your roster, you might lose Zadorov but that will be the extent of it.

Given how Monsterous Barrie has been in the last couple months, Avs may keep him. He's besties w Nate. I wouldn't be surprised if he at least plays out his current contract

Avs value chemistry and may not want to sniff Hoffman. But the Nylander trade seems interesting.

Not sure if Jost + 1st lands you Nylander.
I think a Barrie for Kadri + pick (Barrie resigns) is more realistic.

Skinner gets more money.
Why sign Kruger? What happened to Kamanev?
No chance Timmins starts with COL next year. Dude missed a full year of hockey with concussion; needs AHL time to get back to game ready shape
