Why would CGY do this. Makes no sense for them at all except you replace your current aging goalie with another aging goalie

I mean 23 year old c who got 72 points. I'm not sure what offer makes you move him.

Plus he has that elusive "attitude" that Bergevin keeps talking about.

This is a franchise crippling move...

Kopitar is 31 years old? His contract looks awful for the game he's playing lately. I'd rather have Backlund, Bennett, and Jankowski playing on a line for around $10M than Kopitar for $10M. Crippling contract.

Neither Kopitar nor Quick are on the upswing of their career. And you're moving Monahan, Valimaki, Dube, AND a 1st rounder for that?

Doesn't make much sense.
