Seems like non Avs fans think Byram is gonna be the pick but I doubt they don't use this opportunity to get an elite forward prospect, considering the plethora of young defensemen/prospects they have and the lack of elite forward prospects. Obviously would've been nice to get Hughes or Kaako but now that they're 4 Cozens/Podkolzin/Dach seem much more realistic than Byram.

Why trade him anyway? Avs can afford to keep him in this scenario and he plays an important role on the team.

With the way grubauer is playing, Bob can get his $$$ elsewhere. I'd rather that money be spent on a forward or Erik karlsson

Go after Panarin. You don’t need Karlsson who’s yet another RHD, with Barrie, Johnson, Makar, and Timmons. Yes Karlsson is good but not necessarily needed in Colorado.
