Do u even know who these prospects are? Steel, Jones, Terry, Lundestrom and Guhle are solid.

Maybe so but why would the Oilers want a bunch of “maybe” NHL players for the best player in the league? I think the ask would have to include an already established top D, an established top line forward. (Henrique is not) and 2-3 firsts minimum. There are very teams in the league who could actually offer a package good enough.

Yes. And our best forward. And our best defenseman. And even then they still don't do it because when is all is said and done the Oilers don't have Connor McDavid anymore. I would trade our entire team for McDavid and completely build the team from scratch around him. Which is what teams do (or at least are supposed to do) when generational, first-ballot-Hall-of-Famer-as-a-teenager players fall in their laps.
