Edmonton getting fleeced here. I don’t see oilers as a good trade partner as they don’t Have cap space. And Toronto needs to shed some salary. Think this trade would be fair if you swap brown with kapanen. Which is funny because I think brown should be the only player going to Edmonton. Most likely for a 2nd.

Zaitsev is a great skater and excellent penalty killer so he can replace what Larsson gives you. The Leafs just want some financial flexibility since Larsson has a bit less term and cap hit.
