Make it Drouin, Domi and Gallagher for the 1st overall. Colorado needs an entire 2nd line and that would be perfect for them

Also Pass. Drouin is fine but Hughes and Kakko are shiny and new with that fresh elite potential smell. We want whats in the potential mystery box

Theres a 50% chance the pick is 4th overall tho. What do u think about Podkolzin or Cozens?

Interesting idea was thrown out there on an Avs podcast...taking Byram at 4. In their opinion the separation b/w the forwards of Cozens/Kerbs/Podkolzin isnt that drastic from guys like Turcotte/Newhook etc but the separation at D in Byram from the rest is night and day.

Depending on the Avs pick if you take Byram at 4 and Knight at 12-14 range depending. Solve the back end of the franchise for the next decade....doesnt solve the 2nd line issues but that just moves to Barrie trade and some UFA help in the mean time.

Im sort of on board with the Byram idea at 4. Makar/Timmins/Byram/Girard/Zadorov Not a bad looking D core to have for the next 5-8 years
