Not enough value in here. For top player in the world, you must give top value. The conversation starts with your most valuable player - and that's most likely Kotkaniemi. Then another asset in high value. I'd say Drouin+1st+2nd or Suzuki + 2 firsts.

That's the starters. And that's exactly why top players with maximum contract are not dealt. No one would pay for their true value.

Then, we can conclude that there is no chance for MTL to this. EDM could never get full value for McD... Teams aren't ready to give half of their core for one player. Just for fun
