I was under the impression that Ottawa had no interest in Wennberg, and they would prefer high caliber prospects instead. But I would be OK with sending Wennberg to OTT in this deal if we were to take Heponiemi back along with the rest of the package from FLA.

Quick trade is a straight reject. Rather just take luongo instead of reimer and keep him as a starter. He would be a nice veteran goalie to help korpisalo become a legit starter

Florida isn't trading Luongo. Nor should we want him, he's pretty much done playing and will be LTIR'ed next year.

Wennberg is crap... has declined every year since his best year... not even worth a 2nd rounder at this point

easy pass for OTT both prospects does not fill what they need but goes into what they already have plenty of.

tho cudoes on actually putting in top 5 prospects

How about CBJ include Jenner & Bjorkstrand, and Ottawa also send back Dzingel.
I bet Wennberg would post some decent numbers with Stone on one side & Dzingel on the other.
Brassard could then play between Foligno & Anderson.

i do not think the Blue jackets have the right prospects/players to get Stone, what i mean by is prospects and players in the positions OTT needs such as RW and RD, i am not sold on Bjorkstrand, Oliver being anything but a bottom 6 guy.

The cupboard is stocked, Elvis will need to compete against Veini Vehvilainen (who has been a rock wall in net for Karpat), and Danill Tarasov, who also has potential.
