So our only good LD who is also our top defence men gets traded when we are contending. Nope. Sorry. Morrisey is a long term jet. Helleybuyck is also a really good goalie. He isn’t going anywhere either. Not to mention over 10 years younger. Terrible trade for the jets

He can dominate individual games but not consistently yet

I could kinda see this IF Brossoit was playing poorly and the King was on the last year of his contract. But as it stands, doesn’t make sense to have $15M ties up in goalies for the next 2 years

So then the Rangers could stop wasting his salary. It really does not have to be Winnipeg, it could be a different team.

Based on need, no. The jets do not need pricy and good, they need cheap and capable. We have a starter and are set at backup as well. the jets are ready for the playoffs when it comes to goaltending
