as a Blues fan wondering about Steen's value I'll say this... Little isn't worth as much in a trade as he's worth to the Jets. He has trade protection and he has a lot of years on his deal, which isn't super friendly for what he provides. I think the Jets are going to be forced to keep him and deal Perreault.

I would agree, every team has a couple players like that. However, I don't know if it'll be much easier to move Perreault, Winnipeg is in a tight spot

MTL would take Perrault for Lindgren... nothing more!
+ With Myers money saving for a Prospect + pick... (-9,6M)
you should be OK for next year signature/raise: Wheeler+4, Laine+7, Connor+3, Tanev+ Copp +2M= +16M back around 81M

The Jets would be royally screwed without Brian Little.
He's probably worth a 2nd round pick but can't see the Jets trading him, they're totally void of center depth.
