Quoting: MTLFAN27
I like Tatar as a goal scoring threat. So in my opinion I wouldn't trade him. Byron is speedy, can score, and can play on the PK. Would keep him too. I don't know why we'd be trading away anyone when we sit 9th in the league. If anything we'd be buyers. (But only for guys 27 and under).
Bergevin has said he doesn't want to get rentals, and would consider trading away veteran players as we have already beat his expectations and won't trade the future to win now. Byron is speedy, but we really don't need him. He's an all around middle 6 winger that can play both PP and PK, that being said, Armia proved last night he can do everything that Byron does now. That makes him expendable.
Tatar's value will never be higher. If we trade him, we will get many good future pieces. This list is my expanded list of who should be "available for trade", everyone not listed should be untouchable.
