No one is trading a 1st and a top prospect for Kevin Hayes...hes a Rental. There is no extension in place. You are delusional. Avs are not moving one of the better D prospects in the whole NHL for a rental. Get a grip for once

The guy hasn't even played this year due to a serious concussion that is a huge risk to his development which definitely lowers his value. I guess you guys can keep sliding down in the standings and hopefully we trade him elsewhere anyway. Good luck without any secondary scoring.

That just shows how ignorant you are. Avs are not sliding bc of "secondary scoring" they are still scoring at a great clip. They are getting league worse goaltending right now. But hey keep on pretending like you know what is going on with the rest of the NHL,

A guy working through concussion protocol doesnt mean his value drops....holy crap are your views so skewed its sad since you are trying so hard to try to convince yourself and anyone else on this site that you believe Kevin Hayes who is an good but inconsistent 2nd lien Centre, who had 2 career months and thats it, is worht some 1C mega package.

Sorry but 2 months of a high PDO offensive of Hayes doesnt mean hes some .84ppg player like this fan base claims he is.

No, not for Timmins. RHD prospects with his talent, hes not for sale. Bowers is the only prospect for an extended Hayes that Avs would consider moving.

I'll be honest I don't know much about the Avs prospects thats why I just put him in. I like Kaut but he in my mind shouldn't be available and Hayes has been playing great so didn't know how to value him. You think 1st, 3rd and AJ Greer better? or maybe Tyson Jost?

Bowers since he projects to be a 2C, so You are swapping out Hayes who is a 2C so you are paying draft pick premium to get that 2C now instead of waiting.
Greer can be moved, hes a good young player but hes just being leap frogged with all the other Avs prospects that are on the team now or will be fighting for that spot next year.

Jost wont be moved, they arent giving up on him

To me thats as much as the Avs should go, anything more than Rangers are asking for too much and Avs wont be in this over inflated trade value

Rick Nash returned a 1st and a top prospect, plus smaller pieces as a 33 year old winger rental last year. Kevin Hayes is a 27 year old center having a career year, he should fetch no less than Nash did. Timmons or Bowers and a 1st is a bare minimum they should get back.

You had to take on Spooner and Beleskey terrible contract. You didnt get a 1st and a prospect (and Lindgren wasnt a bruins top prospect for nash) This is exactly the kind of statement just proves at how delusional this fan base is when it comes to trades, you are ignore major components of a trade to try to spin it so justify your over valuing of a player
