I know Connors is not a center but I like the idea of his line and I think he's a good enough player to make the difficult position change.

Buy out Little and Byfuglien and sign them to a much cheaper contract.

Like your thought on the Jersey trade .
But really do you really want Myers for five years? And lets be real, Trouba isn't long term with the Jets. Buf and Little never agree to those deals which I think are illegal anyway.

I'm not sure about buy out rules either but I think at this point in there careers they would if allowed do this to win a cup. And as for Myers I think he like Gardiner in Toronto. He is under appreciated and will be greatly missed when he's gone.

If you buy a guy out you can't resign them. If you trade them and the team you trade them to buys them out you can sign them like what the Caps did with Orpik.
I agree about Myers, he's under appreciated in Winnipeg and will be missed but that's just the way it is with a salary cap, need a young cheaper guy like Poolman to step in and take his spot.
