Description

Just wanted to see what it might look like, well...
Offensive quality is there, but only Pastrnak is top player, Hertl Kase Palat Krejci Voracek Vrana are not on same level, but they definitely top 6 guys. Bottom 6 is overall OK but Canada has Pastrnak-like players even on bottom 6 so.. But with young guns like Chytil, Necas, Lauko, Zadina it should be good in a couple of years if they hit their potential (maybe Zacha will prove himself being top 6 player but it won´t be in New Jersey imo).

Defense is worse, there is physical play but it lacks creativity and stickhandlling skills (I mean its not so bad since they are playing in NHL but there is not any player who can be on ice in any situation and team can rely on him). I know only about Hronek, Masin and Hajek among youngsters, hopefuly some of them becomes a top player.

Goaltending is solid and I can see Korenar and Skarek taking their spots in NHL in few years, no worry there.

Great team. I think this team is very good defensively. Forwards are defensively sound and all of them can defend rather well so I think that defence is not needed to be better. Also Hronek is projecting to be very good top-4 D. Im from Slovakia so I hope this team isnt fully made during worlds because we are going to be ****ed lol

I would do FWD lines like this:

Palat-Krejci-Pastrnak
Hertl-Necas-Voracek
Kaše-Chytil-Zadina
Vrana-Faksa-Frolik
Sobotka-Zacha-Jaskin
Nosek-Kampf-Simon
Hyka-Hanzal-Radil

that is SOLID NHL depth which Im jealous of. We have TATAAAAAAAAAAAR and thats it..

Thanks for the comment, I put Jaskin on top line since he and Davids from Boston showed some chemistry on WC this year, Palat is definitely good choice too, but he is injury-prone which affects his consistency imo. I put faith in Hronek too, and i forgot about other young guns like Zboril or Galvas, but they need time, Hronek might get big in 1-2 years.

I did not involve Necas and Zadina because they are not ready for NHL imo (but Necas will be after this season, like Chytil was after last season).

I heard about few Slovakia prospects (Jaros, Cernak, Ruzicka, Studenic) so it might get little better for you soon.
