I'd put him there as a backup but who would he play over? I think in 3 years he'll be less than Ellis since Ellis is a better skater. Same with Subban.

How many cups has Jake Allen won? You can't compare a healthy scratch defenceman with 2 rings to the goalie who played great and was a huge part of the reason you won back to back cups. He stole the job from Fluery.

Morrisey for sure! And Rielly is a lock unless he gets hurt. He could be Canada's best left handed defenceman right now. Giardano could be the arguement but he's also 34 now.

What is going on here? Its not like he's a back up who for whatever reason played in only the last game and won a 8-1 blow out. He was the reason that Washington didn't get passed the Pens twice. He was a candidate for the con smythe and was an outside contender for the Calder the year Matthews won. I get a Caps fan having some hate to throw his way, but pens fans what is going on. Murray is a great goalie.

Sure who knows, it's so hard picking this because a) it's 3 years from now so who will be declining and who will surpass the older guys from the next generation and b) there are so many good players to choose from.

No one would disagree with Stamkos and its hard to disagree with this lineup.

Murray must have been one hell of a cheerleader during the 2nd Cup in the Wash series.
