It would create a cap problem but the solution to that would be trading AA, you also have Crawford coming off the books and rumors are he might retire. So you would have to sign a mid-level goalie for 3-4 million. (NOT WARD). You take care of Debrincat than you have to buy 3 years from Jokiharju and Boqvist. Which is easier said than done but with the cap rising and expansion draft coming it's not impossible. Also Boqvist contract will slide another because he most likely will not play this year.

Let's be real about RNH. He NEEDS to play with McDavid in order to be productive. It's been proven time and time again. He's not that good. I understand Saad isn't playing well, but the same can be said for him too. Next to McDavid he'd be a full PPG player.

It’s not impossible but can be difficult. If Sikura and Kahun play up to expectation they will likely be around 2 mil each. Debrincat very well could lead the team in goals again this year, he can be higher than expected. Jokkiharju is already logging 20 minute games. I think bridge deals would be key until toews and kane get new contracts.

Murphy was not on waivers he was benched but hey Kempney was benched by Q as well now look at him. Murphy is a #4 dman that shoots right. And Saad was benched two years ago by Tortorella and rebounded to have a solid year. Both players are still young and could have some untapped potential Sadd has 2 cups and Murphy is a young right-handed dman
