Description

There are I think 3 options here at play for Willy.

1) The most likely and obvious is signing Nylander for 8x6.5 . He isnt better then Pasternak, Gaudreau, but he is better then Ehlers. This is honestly here he should be RIGHT NOW. He has the potential to become Draisital good, but for now, he hasn't earned that money.

2) Nylander gets traded to CAR for a D-man. I know its only been 1 game into the season, but Hainsey speed is gone lol. Bottom 6 dman and should not see more then 15 min a night. A top decent dman from CAR for him should help.

3) Trade with CBJ for Panarin +. This is Risky because we dont know if Panarin will re-sign, hence why it would be Breadman ++. Nylander will sign a long term in CBJ so its worth the package. This rumour is from Chris Johnston of SN.

You are really underestimating Slavin. You would have to add to Nylander to get Slavin. Plus Carolina doesn't need another wing.

ur not getting bean and slavin for nylander lol. esp if ur just trading the rights of a player. if he's signed then slavin only makes sense.

Slavin is worth more than Nylander. How do you expect that trade to go through? and why do you think Carolina would be willing to pay 8x8 for nylander?

most likely is 8 at 6.5 dream on kid nylander will play in khl if that's the leafs best offer might get a 2 year bridge deal at 7 million anything long term will be around 8 at least.

No team is going pay Nylander 8m. That would make him I believe the top 3 paid RWer. Even 7m is too much. And folks are right about Slavin.
