That’s a huge gamble on Lou’s part to trade away his two best wingers in March then hinge the next season on the two top FA wingers signing with the Isles. But then again, keeping Lee and Eberle past the TDL without having them sign would be a huge gamble too. Lou has his work cut out for him. Still, I’d trade Lee and Eberle. Even if Panarin and Stone go elsewhere, the Isles would still have enough youth from the 2018 and 2019 drafts to be successful in the long term. The important thing is to make sure big assets don’t walk for nothing.

Also, I like the Ladd trade. It looks... familiar...
