Daley will have trade value, don't agree that buying him out and having him on the books for 4 more years would be beneficial to the franchise.

Can’t use more than 10% cap limit as LTIR, eg: 7.9 mil or so. And best case scenario would be green and Daley play excellent this year and garner trade interest and bring us prospects and draft picks in return.

I believe it's pretty low to say an ideal situation is for these guys to be hurt most of the season. Obviously Franzen will never play again, so he's a given. But these are people at the end of the day so maybe try to word it a little better than to claim an ideal situation is for these guys to get hurt in order to help gain some cap space.
