Tampa will not let Gourde go to free agency. If they can't sign him, they will trade his rights, but they will probably sign him

Lee could fetch $8m I think, while Eberle will get an identical $6m. That would push his career earnings up near $80m, which would make him one of the highest paid players ever.

its unreal on how Snow has tarnished this team with Laad and Bailey's contracts. Baileys career year in the past 9 seasons because of Tavares. could have easily traded him at the trade deadline is he knew he wasn't going to make any trades to make a playoff run. those contracts will prevent them from making any significant signings for the next several years. Boychuck should have received a 5 year extension max!! knowing he was on the backend. another disaster and buyout in the next 2 years.

Hindsight is 20/20. I don't hate the Bailey deal. Ladd is another story.
