Pretty quick no from Dallas. Honka is a projected top-4 defenseman, while Sutter hasn't put up 40+ points this decade. Don't see Dallas trading away a key piece on their right side for another bottom-6 forward.

Maybe? that bottom six is pretty weak, and not going to give you any offensive support. there are some good players on the back end, but Gudbransson is a problem even if he's only playing limited minutes, so having him in your top 4 is a huge problem. Markstrom is a competent starter, but he's not going to steal you games, which you need from your goalie, but that's an issue that should solve itself in a year or two with Demko on the way up.

I think that's a good framework for a playoff team, but I think they're a few years off still.
