Description
Montreal needs a centre so bad they might actually consider 2 years of Hanzal while their prospects develop (and if he's injured, they have deep pockets to keep him on the LTIR). He's overpaid but it could be worse, Montreal has cap space. Dallas gets cap dump to make resigning Seguin more possible next year. Pacioretty can perhaps rekindle his chemistry with Radulov. Montreal gets a LD and a Finn at that to go with their Finn-heavy prospect cupboard.

Getting Perrault allows Winnipeg to resign Statsny and their RFAs more comfortably.

Duclair wasn't qualified by CHI, he's a UFA now.

Yup, and for better or worse he has been linked to Montreal, and unlike Tavares they might actually be able to sign him. He's another undersized winger with a mixed track record of production so its dubious if he would be worth signing at all, but its a Bergevin-type signing
